Although synonymous with Skateboarding in the Canadian west coast, Skull Skates originally began with two brothers in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1978. Functioning as a brand based out of their own skateshop in Vancouver (PD's Hotshop), Skull Skates grew popular amongst skaters, punks, artists and more. Having flagship locations in Vancouver, Japan, and Switzerland, Skull Skates remains a staple to Canadian skating while appealing to fans worldwide.
